The draft of the Nigerian National ICT policy was published January 9, 2012 and reviewed by various stake holders in March. The goal of the policy “is to provide a framework for streamlining the ICT sector and enhancing its ability to help address some socio-economic and development challenges while facilitating the transformation of Nigeria into a knowledge based economy.”
